What does it mean to be human?

Many factors contribute to what makes humans different from other species. I believe the main difference is our ability to question ourselves and understand others. Humans alone can rationalize and reason. We our very complex in our way of life, developing many cultures over thousands of years. Along with culture has come great ideas such as religion, law, and art. Art and especially creativity is important to the human race. Without creativity humans would not have been able to develop much farther than the neolithics. The human race has set itself apart in extraordinary ways.
