Humanity

To be human means to me that you can communicate complex ideas and understand and feel complex emotions. For example an animal may feel anger or fear, but it can’t feel pity or compassion. Humans also have the ability to think with logic opposed to reacting through instinct. Normal animals don’t understand treaties and other means to prevent fighting, if one animal sees another on its territory it leads to instant conflict.

Humans also have the ability to create and destroy like no other race on this planet. We are the only race that kills for unnecessary reasons, for example, genocide. Humans are the only race that hurts others of their own race out of greed.
